Golf de Biot

Golf de Biot is an 18-hole, par 69 course on the flat ground along the Brague, below Biot village. It was built in 1930 as the Golf de la Bastide du Roy, which makes it one of the oldest courses on the French Riviera. The layout is short and forgiving and suits every level, from beginners and families to improving players. From the men’s tees it runs to about 4,500 m (4,900 yards).

The short length makes for a quicker round than on a championship course, and 9- and 11-hole rounds are also sold. The club lists 18-hole green fees at €85 to €90 and 9 or 11 holes at €50 to €55.

Sophia Antipolis and Mougins (about 15 minutes) are close, which makes Golf de Biot handy for people who live and work in the area. The Brague and the Valmasque streams come into play as natural hazards, and the setting is pleasant all year.
