Golf de Saint-Donat

Golf de Saint-Donat lies on the route de Cannes in Grasse, in wooded Provençal country. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the 18-hole, par 71 course, which opened in 1993 and runs to 6,031 m from the back tees. Alongside it, a 9-hole par 27 compact course of about 780 m suits beginners, families and anyone who wants a quick round.

The two courses give the club a wide range: a woodland 18-hole course for established players, and a short compact course for learning and practice. Green fees for 18 holes run from €80 to €125 (2026), 9 holes cost €60 and children pay €50.

Saint-Donat is about 10 minutes from the centre of Grasse. With Golf de la Grande Bastide, it is one of two 18-hole courses within about 10 minutes of the town.

The 18-hole course follows a woodland style, with trees framing the fairways. It suits golfers with an established handicap who want a full round close to Grasse.

The 9-hole compact course (par 27) is a pitch-and-putt layout of about 780 m. It is the easiest way into the game for beginners and children, and a quick practice round for everyone else.
